Do you plan to open a business in Victorville, California?

Anyone wishing to operate a business in Victorville will need to apply for and be issued a business license from the Business Licensing Division. You can either print the application from the City of Victorville website or you may visit the Business Licensing Division in person to request an application. They are located at 14343 Civic Center Drive. You will need to have zoning approval for your business location from the Planning Division of Victorville. Zoning approval simply means that your business activities will need to take place in the correct zone. You will need zoning approval prior to signing any lease or purchase agreements on any business property to be certain your business is accepted in that zone. Is there specific information required on the Victorville business license application?

Your Victorville business license application is used to collect information regarding the owner(s) of your business, the business itself, and the business location. Some of the information you will be asked to provide includes the physical address and mailing address of your business, any phone numbers associated with your business, and an email address and website for your business. The contact information and names of all owners and the ownership type need to be provided. Ownership type includes whether your business is under a partnership, owned by a husband/wife team, a corporation, an LLP/LLC, or owned individually. 

Your business type needs to be stated in order to determine your fees and your zoning approval. When you have completed your application, you will need to sign it to verify that you are aware of and will comply with all municipal, state and federal codes, laws, and regulations regarding operating a business. Your signature also denotes that you have provided only true and accurate information on your business license application. 

Do you need additional Victorville licenses or permits?

You may need to apply for additional licenses or permits, as mentioned above.
