What If I Plan to Run a Business From My Home?
If you plan to run your business from your place of residence, you will need an home occupancy certificate in addition to your business license. You can print the certificate from the the City of Hemet website. The Hemet home occupancy certificate is a list if regulations that you must be in compliance with in order to run a business from your home. Home occupancy regulations include things like not employing persons from outside your own residence, that you use no more than 25% of your total square footage be dedicated to your business and that you not post signs.
