I want to open a business in Hemet. Where should I start?
Anyone wanting to open a business in Hemet should start by by filling out an application for a business license. You can print one from the City of Hemet website or you can request one in person at 445 East Florida Avenue. The business license application is a one-page document that requests important information about your proposed business including:

Home occupancy regulations include items such as restrictions on employing persons from outside your own residence, using more than 25% of your total square footage for your business, and posting signs. Will I need other Hemet permits or Hemet licenses?
