You can expect to find some of the following
questions while applying for a city/county license:

Do I need to register my business with the
state?
Most businesses in Nebraska must first register and
receive a Nebraska State Identification Number if
you will be conducting retail sales or if you will
have employees. This can be done by filing a Nebraska
Tax Application form through the Nebraska Department
of Revenue. If you are going to operate as a corporation, an LLC,
or alimited partnership you will also need to register
your business entity with the Nebraska Secretary of

This is obtained through the Nebraska Tax Application
form. The Nebraska Tax Application also is used to
