You will need to apply for a business license from the Business License Office. You will need to apply in person at 8650 California Avenue in South Gate. Business licenses are processed between 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and between 1:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. At the time you apply for your business license, you will also need to pay a non-refundable processing fee. When your application is approved, this money will be applied to your business license fees.
