To get your business license application, you can visit the City of Hesperia website and print one off, or you can visit the Business License Section at City Hall, 9700 Seventh Avenue. The application for a business license is a short one-page document asking for information regarding your proposed business. Some of the information includes your business name, the physical address of your business, and all contact information. You will need to give a description of your business activities, and your business type (meaning whether you are the sole proprietor, in a partnership, or part of a corporation). You are asked to submit your name, current contact information, and your social security number. Your signature on this application denotes that you have read all the notes and fees information, and that you are declaring all information that you have provided is true and correct.  When you have completed your application, return it to the Business License Section at City Hall. Do you plan to operate a Hesperia business from home?

If you plan to use your home as a business location, you will need to read and comply with a list of mandatory conditions set forth by the city of Hesperia. If you are not the owner of your home, your landlord will be notified of your intention to run a business from the property. Your landlord (if applicable) and your neighbors will be notified of your business activities, and the mandatory conditions for operating a home business.
