If you wish, you can print the application from the City of San Bernardino website. Your name and contact information (or that of the owner) needs to be given, and the type of ownership your business will be under, whether sole proprietorship, partnership, or corporation. The number of employees you plan to hire, and the square-footage of your business location need to be stated. In addition, if applicable, you will need to obtain and provide the following: partnership tax ID number, corporation ID number, both state and federal employer ID numbers etc. You may need to contact other entities for these numbers. Contact the City Clerk’s Office if you have questions regarding this information, or any part of your business registration certificate application.
