Receiving a marriage license in Ontario, California is simple: all you have to do is appear together with your fiancé(e) at the San Bernardino County Recorder-Clerk’s office, submit the application for a marriage license and present a valid, government-issued photo I.D. that shows your full name and your birthdate. You must be at least 18 years old and unmarried in order to be issued a marriage license.

When is the San Bernardino County Recorder-Clerk’s office open?

The San Bernardino Recorder-Clerk’s office accepts walk-ins Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. You can make an appointment to be attended at the office from Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
