How Long Will It Take to Receive a Business Tax Receipt?
You can expect to receive your business tax receipt in about one week from the time you submit your application and all paperwork. Upon receiving your business tax receipt, be sure to post it in a visible place, generally near the front entrance of your business.
What Are the Costs Associated with a Business Tax Receipt?
You will pay your business tax receipt annually, on or before September 30. If you are applying for a business tax receipt after April 1, you will only be expected to pay 50% of the regular cost for your business license for the first fiscal year, and there after, you will pay the regular amount. Your business tax receipt costs can be calculated by the Finance Department by calling them at (954)921-3225.
