At this point in time, the city obligates all business owners to obtain permits that encompass these:
- Solicitor, Canvasser and/or Peddler Permit
- Alcoholic Beverage License (regulated through the TABC but required to consult with city as well)
- Special Event Permit, including Block Parties, Parades and Events Involving Street Closures
- Temporary Food Permit and Established Food Permit
What should I do for an Alcoholic Beverage License in Midland?

Yes. It is a requirement to have your business property inspected by the Planning and Zoning Commission.
