Looking For Information On Obtaining a Business License In Wilmington, North Carolina?
You will need to gather information to bring with you when you apply, in person for your business license. This information includes the following:
- Zoning approval- This can be obtained by contacting the Zoning Department at (910)254-0900
- Transportation services will need to contact Officer Bluford at (910)343-3648
- If applicable, a beer and wine sales permit- Contact Detective T. Braswell at (910)343-3658 to discuss obtaining this permit and to apply for it
- Business registration from the North Carolina Secretary of State
When you have all your paperwork in order, bring it to the City of Wilmington Finance Department to apply for your business license. They can be reached by phone at (910)341-7822. They are located at 305 Chestnut Street on 5th floor.
