What is the process for licensing a business in Boulder, Colorado?
The city of Boulder requires that all businesses operating within the city and those businesses that are located outside of the city, but enter into city limits to conduct business, to apply for and be issued a license from the Department of Finance. You may either fill out an application online to print from the City of Boulder website, or request one in person from the Department of Finance located at 1777 Broadway in Boulder. Your business will need to be properly zoned to operate in the city of Boulder as well.
