What Steps does Ogden Require?
- To apply for a business license, go to the second floor of the Ogden City Municipal Building. Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday (holidays excluded).
- To obtain a Home Occupation License, the following requirements apply:
- The occupation is restricted to the family members residing in the home.
- There are no necessary interior or exterior alterations to the home.
- The property does not use any additional buildings not associated with the home.
- The business does not involve retail or wholesale activities.
- There are also additional requirements for businesses serving alcohol. Further, final approval of a beer or alcohol license is reserved by the mayor or his/her designee.
