Business Licenses cannot be applied for online; the only method in which to apply is to go to the City Hall. Business License Renewals, however, can be done online at http://www.charlestoncounty.org. Please ensure that if desire to pay by check have your check book with you, there will be various fees depending on what type of business you have. Each fee requires a separate check. You may also pay by American Express, Visa, Mastercard or cash. If you would like preliminary information for the anticipated fees you may call the One Stop Shop at (843) 740-2634.
