Do I need a license to do business in Wyoming, Michigan?

All businesses in Wyoming, Michigan require business licenses. You can obtain a Wyoming business license by completing and submitting a business license application, which you can find online at the Wyoming City Clerk’s Office Website: http://www.ci.wyoming.mi.us/ForBusinesses/BusinessLicense.asp.

Any time your business changes owners, name, or location, you will need to apply for a new business license that reflects the changes. You will also need to pay the required fees.

Even some businesses that operate in Wyoming but are not based in the city must apply for a business license. These kinds of businesses include taxi, snowplow, and trash collector companies. What information does the Wyoming business license application require?

On the City of Wyoming Business License Application, you will need to provide the business owner’s name and whether the business is operated by a sole proprietor, a partnership, or a corporation.
