You can apply for your marriage license at the Lancaster County Clerk of Orphans’ Court office. You will need to go to the office together in person, submit a marriage license application, and pay the required fee to receive your marriage license. What are the requirements for a marriage license in Lancaster, Pennsylvania?

You must both be single and at least 18 years old to meet the basic requirements to be issued a marriage license in Lancaster. The Lancaster County Clerk of Orphans’ Court office will require that you present a valid photo I.D. and give your social security number when you go to apply. If you are 16 or 17 years old, you cannot be issued a marriage license without parental consent.
