Congratulations! You can apply for your marriage license at the San Mateo County Clerk’s office. The San Mateo County Clerk’s office is on the first floor at 555 County Center, Redwood City, California. At the County Clerk’s office, you will fill out the marriage license application and pay the fee before you receive your marriage license. Office hours for marriage license services are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Can we apply for a marriage license online?
Yes, but you still need to appear in person at the San Mateo County Clerk’s office within 60 days of submitting the online application in order to receive your license. What are requirements do we need to meet to receive a marriage license in San Francisco, California?
