You need to go together in person to the Monterey County Clerk’s office to apply for your marriage license. The Monterey County Clerk’s office can be found on the first floor of the County Government Administration Building at 168 West Alisal Street in Salinas, California. The County Clerk’s office is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The office is closed on holidays.
