Getting a business license in Everett?
If you desire to operate a business within the Everett city limits or if you will be engaging in any for profit business in Everett, but your business is located outside the city limits, you will be required to obtain a City of Everett Business Tax Number Application (business license).
What information will I need to fill out the application?
The following information is required to complete the application:
- Name and physical address of business
- Description of business activity
- Contact information, including birthdates for all owners, partners, and officers
- Start date of business
- Federal Tax ID Number
- Unified Business Identifier (UBI) Number
- Business and Occupation Tax Account Number
- SIC Number
- Be in compliance with Everett fire and safety, building, and zoning codes
- Home Occupation Permit if you have a home based business
- $10 check or money order for fee
